Won't be up to you since you won't be here to contest where you wanna be buried. Are you an immigrant here alone? Like an international student and you're families back home? It'll be on where you're parent guardians want you to be buried, which is the next kin. Unless you're over 18. A suicide note obviously isn't a legal binding. However, if you are over 18, you're fit to make whatever choice you feel free to as an adult. But a suicide note isnt nothing. You'd have to create a legal last will and testament and/or a living will to further the strength of you're decision to have your remains kept in this country. So id suggest going to lawyer wherever you are in Canada, and sort this legal living well and last will and testament of having your remains in Canada. You'd have to obviously get it cremated. If you dont have a kin or guardian here in Canada, it doesnt make sense to ask to be buried; someones gonna have to arrange burials, pay for it, etc; ask to be cremated, that would be a valid reason in your will.
