Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Don't even bother spending money on therapy and facilities if you have something that isn't super treatable, if you're in a situation where it's so bad that it's just gonna come back anyways, or if you have so many mental disorders it's crazy. I've spent a substantial amount of time in hospitals, facilities, doctors offices.. and none of it works. The only exception for this is if you have some kind of eating disorder, anxiety or a mild case of depression. (I say eating disorders because those can become super painful and you do NOT want to go out that way.) For background, throughout my life I have been diagnosed with 8 mental disorders, some of them very treatable some not curable at all. I know i'm on the extreme side of the mental health spectrum and my experience is going to be different, but it completely changes your view on the world no matter what you have. And you're telling me that thousands of dollars, YEARS put in psychiatric care and it only helps me seem normal to other people who have never met me before? Ive come to terms with the fact I will always be suffering no matter what, and that eventually I will ctb once i'm done having fun because I have zero interest in getting a job, getting married or having kids. I know this is controversial, but I feel like the government should provide medically assisted euthanasia for people with chronic and incurable mental disorders that affect quality of life and people around them. Why let these people suffer and why have them find painful ways to do it themselves just for their families, their parents, their kids find them dangling from their ceiling or splattered everywhere on the wall. Maybe it's a matter of money, or the ethicality of it all but i'll never understand. Don't waste your time on this bullshit system, if push comes to shove do whatever you have to do to not have to suffer anymore, wether that's work on your mental health or just ctb all together.

My problem is with life itself, so good luck curing that. Voluntary human extinction movement for the win.

This will be cynical, but I've always thought that the people who do not support this don't actually care about you or your suffering, but are doing it for themselves to feel a moral superiority. They're not affected, they will never even be affected by it, but are more than happy to make the decisions for the people who are affected by it without giving them a say because it makes them feel good and they get to tell themselves they're doing the good thing.

I totally agree. But then the government would have to admit they're wrong and change policy and, at least where I am in the USA, it isn't a quick process. So we're stuck trying to figure out which nitrite (or is it nitrate?) to use for a peaceful death. They want every last tax dollar they can squeeze out of us. Why would they let us have an easy way out?

I hate people who think they have some sort of moral high ground, if they actually looked into any of it more they would understand that no amount of treatment is going to end some people's suffering, and to just let the go on and do what they have to do without intervening. You're totally right

No because that's so real. I went to multiple psychologists for a simple assessment and all of them gave me a "sowwy that's above my pay grade".
Like genuinely what are psychologists even good for?

I absolutely do get that. Ever since I saw the Suicide booth in Futurama I wanted it to be real. But alas there's a lot of factors such as

1. Most people are pro living. They don't suffer. They haven't tried to overcome the situations that drove people to suicide. They have been raised to be deeply opposed to suicide. You'll probably always get widespread push back on the baseline idea of ending life on your own terms rather than suffering because fate/God/whatever decreed you're not dying now, no matter how bad it is

2. The minute you get the door open on who's allowed the cure to life, you kinda open up the door to a lot of ableism. Sure, to someone with a specific diagnosis living is unbearable but to the next person it might be fine. It's a bit of a slippery slope letting other people decide if you have the right to kill yourself because someone else like you might wanna live.

3. I actually think you shouldn't need proof of terminal illnesses or anything. You just need to want it tbh.

Agreed
