I would like to know about your opinion if you have experience in this field because i'm not familiar with this kind of drugs. I read in a forum that there are people that sells propofol in my country and it is cheaper than buying N and i read that propofol and pentobarbital basically does the same thing and according to this article https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/18430881/ propofol has greater chance to cause adverse repiratory problem than pentobarbital though it have much shorter sedation time https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/17698968/ . Is it okay to use propofol as a substitute for N?

They use it as a substitute with morphine and something else in the US states where assisted suicide is legal if pentobarbital isn't available

I'm still a little but unsure to use it if they mixed other chemical to achieve the intended results. But thank you for answering this question.

Propofol has a much shorter half life (15 mins I think) and might have to be delivered by an injection. I think it is more unreliable than N.
