Some people think suicide is unjustifiable, so suicide might be the act of unjustifiably killing a person, but in many jurisdiction it's no longer a crime. If suicide is a crime in a jurisdiction it can be murder, according to the law there.

The problem of the statement "suicide is murder" is that it implies suicide is extremely bad behaviour and nobody has the right to do that. Actually pro-lifers want to say we have no right to kill ourselves.
And bigger problem is that some people deliberately use the term in order to slander suicidal people.

Personally I would never say "suicide is murder" even though suicide is killing. There's enough guilt accompanied with suicide, so I don't have to add insult to injury. In my opinion the word "killing" could be used instead of "murder."
And nobody except religious fundamentalists would want to call 9/11 jumpers "murderers," who have jumped from burning World Trade Center buildings and died.

If the difference between a murder and a killing that isn't murder is justification, the lines become muddy, because people will justify any and everything they do, because that helps them sleep at night. But I'm guessing by justification that you mean legally protected killing, rather than a killing where you just excused yourself. In that case, carrying out death penalty or a holy war isn't murder, because it's legally sanctioned. You can have your cake, but you can't eat it too.

Depends who you believe owns your life. Depends if you think you can consent to ending your life. By the same reasoning, giving to a charity or buying something is theft and masterbation is rape.

Abortion I would agree with you more over. That is a decision about another being's life. However, as the more fervant pro-abortionists will point out- it isn't sentient life at that point.

However- the slaughter of animals for our dinner or to make room for our needs in the natural world is murder. Euthanizing an animal at the vets is always murder- no matter how well intentioned it is. They can't consent to it.
