I am not sure. Even if they rule against him. I doubt he and his robber barron friends would care about the ruling. If it cannot be enforced. My friends tell me they don't know whether he will really leave his office after his second term. I told them I doubt he goes that far. But if they fully ignore the Supreme court I am not that sure anymore. This week the Supreme court will announce its first ruling about firing in an unconstitional way government employees. I am pretty curious about the result.

The numbers are in Trump's favor: there are 6 conservative justices, 3 of whom were elected by Trump, verses 3 liberal justices.

But Supreme Court justices aren't like subservient middle managers who bow down and execute every order issued by their manager. Supreme Court justices serve lifetime appointments, they have extremely distinguished careers, and they're at the pinnacle of the federal judiciary. They can and do take opposing positions to the President who nominated them, and they don't always follow traditional ideological grounds.

That's not to say he won't undermine democracy, that ship already sailed. But he doesn't have an invincibility shield to do whatever he pleases.
