• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Something that is password-protected like WordPress or accessible only if you have its particular link like YouTube. WordPress doesn't seem to have that option anymore, while Youtube only works for videos.

I really need something to upload my suicide note and other writing on for my family to see later. I can't trust my Google account drive alone because I am afraid my family will access it and delete stuff in a fit of emotion; I need something that can't be deleted by anyone but me, something that will stay forever or atleast a few years. Please help me with any resources and ideas you have.

bearblog seems to fit your needs
since people are mentioning medium

there are ways to schedule your posts
and keep your posts private

schedule: set the date and time of the post in the future
private: save the post as a draft and then view the draft and the website link associated with that draft is your private post

My plan was to upload everything to a drive folder on my Proton account. Without the need of a blogging platform, I think creating an account on a different mail service and not sharing the password with your family should be enough? Or MEGA/Dropbox?
I don't know the precise situation, if you're looking for a service that needs to know the link to access your note, will you share the link in public or just send it to people you're addressing in it?
