I made my Exit bag and put it on. I was suffocating and breathing heavily after 2 minutes. Now when I hook it up to Nitrogen, will I still experience the carbon dioxide build up that causes me to breath heavier and deeper and how soon will I pass out? I'm very scared and why I insist on using sleeping pills. I don't want to deal with any pain or discomfort. I just want to go. Here is a photo of my exit bag. It will be tightened around my neck. How tight should it be? Should it be very tight to not allow ambient air to go in? I don't want to fuck this up and wake up and suffer permanent brain damage.

Im not fairly educated on this method, but the peaceful pill ehandbook is and Im pretty sure it talks about this exact method and the setup. Maybe look into it if you havent already? It's on page 142 of the book labeled insert gas. Hopefully you find the answer, best wishes.

Inert gas is being pumped into the hood. It is a lot more in volume than CO2 being breathed out. Actually normal air is 78% nitrogen anyway....and we dont notice. Well if this amount is upped to say above 90%, this is where humans lose consciousness. It happens fairly quickly.
The tightness of the hood I dont think is much of concern. There are emergency hoods used for getting out of buildings with smoke that are fairly loose at the bottoms.
I think the flow of inert gas is the key...it needs to be enough to overcome any normal air from getting into the hood.

Bottom should be snug. To minimize CO2, you squeeze the bag empty then let it fill up with nitrogen on your head like a balloon hat. Exhale completely before you pull it down, then breathe pure nitrogen.

I've looked into this method and I have the money for it. I should start taking steps.

Weren't you the one who had this intensely elaborate highly technical setup with a hood/mask and were degrading others for not knowing as much as you? You're doing an exit bag now? Interesting.

The point of the nitrogen is that it will exclude co2 from the bag making it painless as long as you have a high enough nitrogen flow rate. It doesn't need to be very tight because air needs to escape, something like a shoelace or string would do the trick

The mask gave me an exploding head feeling. It was impossible to pass out with it and it was so claustrophobic. There is nothing fancy about my setup, I've simply switched to an exit bag.

As myself and others have previously warned, your insistence on taking sleeping pills will most likely cause this to fail. But this seems to be a sign of something bigger…
I don't think you want to do this, I think this level of fear is an indication that this is not for you. If there's any other path forward you can find that doesn't involve catching the bus, I hope you take it ❤️‍🩹.

Sounds like there were some flaws in your design. Many people successfully CTBed from the hood/mask.

Exit bag gap should be two fingers. You need CO2 to escape so it shouldn't be too tight. I tried the exit bag as well with argon and the setup was a failure inflate. I documented my experience couple years ago here. Nitrogen should work better.

the gas has to be inhaled "directly" no matter the setup, there definitely was enough oxygen because it wasn't sealed in a way where oxygen is completely gone while the gas flows out of the bag through a small opening so the bag obviously won't burst

I want to go, you will hear about me likely on the news soon when it's time. I'm in Perth Australia. I just don't want to suffer at all when my soul/consciousness is dying.

I'm not sure what the issue could be. When I tried a headband the very first time, it inflated. I can't get it to do so after with the thread.
