Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I hope this makes sense.

My brain is in literal turmoil 24/7. I don't eat or sleep or do much of anything. There's no "end." I know I'm going to ctb. The very few things needing to be worked out can be. I think if I set a goal, by choosing an actual date on the calendar, and committing to it, no matter what, might ease the pressure.

Those of you with a ctb date - did you get relief from knowing when? I think it might sedate my brain some. If you don't mind sharing, how did you choose your date? Is it a day of significance to you, the soonest you think you could do it, or did you have another reason to pick it?

It's like going to work when you plan to quit soon, everything seems so pointless...

I have not fixed a date yet because I have so many pending things to do. But I have decided I will do it in a few weeks that has definitely eased my stress. You can always change your date if you have to or set a month instead. If you are going to do it, staying alive for few extra days won't matter.

I haven't picked a specific date, but I do have an idea of approximately when I plan to CTB, time and circumstance dependent though. For me, it did bring some sort of closure and finality for me. Although for some, I could see why it may raise anxiety and pressure as they may feel like it's coming sooner than later. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide when and you can always change it or back out if you have second thoughts.
