Entropy guides me until death reaches me.

Hi there, I made a document researching jumping's effectiveness on my available place to jump.

Document:
Physics of jumping:

Terminal Velocity = √(2mg / ρA) = sqrt((2×70×9,8)÷(1,225×0,6)) = 43 m/s = 154.8 km/h

t=v/g = 43÷9,81 = 4,383282365 seconds to reach the velocity
Distance = 1/2 * g * t² = 1/2 * 9,81 * 4,383282365^2 = 94 meters

As a story falls somewhere in 3.9 meters height, 94/3.1 = 30 stories high.

My available height: 9 stories = 9 * 3,1 = 27,9 meters

v=sqrt(2 * g * s) = sqrt(2 * 9,81 * 27,9) = 23,4 m/s = 82.8 km/h
v is velocity
a is the acceleration due to gravity (m/s²)
s is the displacement or height (m)

----------------------------------------------------
I wonder if 82,8 km/h is enough to die, if I go head first.

I've known people who have died falling from three stories, so yeah it CAN be enough but nobody can guarantee it because there have been cases where people have survived falling from thousands of feet high in skydiving incidents. My point is that you can never know. But 9 stories is fairly high and if you can ensure head first, there's barely any chance at survival.

I guess tonight's the night. I hope it works!

I can't be ascertain if I go head first, nevertheless I don't think I will fail either. Wish me luck!

I just replaced the values in the formulas by constants and values that I know.

It's hard to be certain and even harder to know how you will land but the recently blocked site lostallhope puts the minimum fetal hight on to a hard surface is 150ft and 250ft on to water surface.

O'man, the nerds are gonna love this thread!

Nobody knows. I've been shot in the head twice and survived! 100% healthy!

Gotta be that voodoo! :pfff::pfff::pfff:

I see some brain damage though... just a joke, don't kill me please! (Or maybe do) 🙈

I decided not to take the risk, I don't know if I could get into any higher spot, unfortunately.
