Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I have been wanting to CTB for the past few years (maybe around 4-5 years if being specific) but I have my personal reasons that are holding me back. I truly do believe CTB is the best course of action for me, but these things have been deterring me.

1. Affecting others
My father CTB, and I feel horrible leaving my mother and baby brother with two out of four of their family ending things.

2. Future / wasted potential
I am taking advanced courses, working on my associates and other schooling at the same time. I'd like to think I'm at least a little smart. I get perfect scores on everything, and I am an okay musician and writer. I like to think I have a promising future. Should I throw that away to CTB? is it worth it? I feel like I could do more with my life, but I really want to CTB

These are my two main grievances, the others I can mostly get behind. Can anybody out there put these to rest for me?

I think it would be good for you analyze depthly and weigh up whether it would be worth continuing — you know, seeing if the pros outweigh the cons or vice versa.
Only you can judge whether you have a "promising future" or wish to end your existence here. Those close to you will certainly suffer, but in the end, it's your life and yours alone.

Ideally CTB should be a last resort action.
Your situation looks dreadful and I'm sorry you have to go through this, but you seem to have both loved ones and hope for the future.
Make sure you check out https://sanctioned-suicide.net/forums/recovery.7/ and think this through.
