Partial hanging with a bathrobe belt

Idk if im doing anything wrong...I can't rlly get a proper rope + proper robes kinda hurt more than bathrobe ropes plus wouldn't it do the same thing? I tried doing it right now and it felt like my eyes were about to pop out which made me panic + I'm scared I'm gonna end up disabled or something after I acc do it sooo how do I increase my chances if acc dying? + how long would It take for me to acc pass out and die for good?

my attempt went exactly like this. i still can't figure out what i did wrong. i feel like it might have something to do with the placement of the rope around your neck. i saw guides saying that "pressure needs to be applied to ____ area of your neck, then you'll pass out almost instantly" which seems a little unrealistic.

It's not super unrealistic. I can't recall the area but it's one of the main arteries on your neck. It works similarly to a blood choke, which causes loss of consciousness in a few seconds (3-10 to be exact) which, sure, not exactly instant but pretty close to it.
