I was a little afraid of hanging cuz I couldn't stand the feeling of suffocation, which is why I chose NN, since it doesn't constrict the windpipe. But NN didn't work because it required too much precision. Then I thought: what if I hold more air in my lungs so I lose consciousness before the SI kicks in? And it worked; I almost lost consciousness, and it was very hard for me to untie the rope. I simply tied the rope to the door hinge and lay down, but so that my head wouldn't touch the floor; after 3-5 seconds, my vision started to darken, and by the time I loosened the rope from my neck, I almost lost consciousness, and the SI wasn't even triggered, all because I had filled my lungs with air as much as possible. It was so easy that I delayed my ctb time tbh for 1-2 days

Yes. Hyperventilation will give your brain more air. Not really. But I thinks you have more air to hold your breath longer. One think to look out for. You will be spasming after you lost LOC. Minimizing ground contact so the spams around doesnt take the pressure of your arteries and you waking up again chocking is something to keep in mind. Happend to me few times. Best to barely touch the floor or not at all.. Just my expierence. Good luck with your testing and researche and your final commitment if thid is your ultimate goal.

Good luck, many have succeeded with partial hanging before. Personally I can't do it though, wish I could.

How long would it take to pass out with this? I read that SWB takes about 3-6 minutes, so how could a partial hanging take 30 minutes? Also, I got that rope mark on my neck and have no idea how to hide it

when I did partial hanging everything went dark in 2 seconds. there was no time to change the mind. stepping into rope placement above the Adam's apple where the chin and neck meet is my sweet spot. hoping your rope mark fades quickly, I wrapped a scarf around my rope to lessen this and make things more comfortable…
