So, I'm thinking of doing the partial hanging method except I'm not sure where to hang from...I don't have a bed post because I have a platform bed, the door handles in my apartment are the long kind you push down not the knob that turns. I'm wondering if possibly my balcony railing or the bathtub spout could work? If not, I have to rethink my method.

Did you find somewhere in the end? I'm trying to figure this out. A few ideas I've thought of are trying to find somewhere in a hotel room, finding a good tree branch or maybe even setting up a pull up bar in a hotel room and doing it there.
Um I tried with the rail in my closet that I forgot was there but couldn't do it. SI kicked in. To be fair though, I didn't buy rope just used a necktie so.
