I have found some listings for oxycontin and oxycodone on the dark net market DH fairly quick so I'm assuming the listings are common.
Does anyone have any estimates for how much it would take for an overdose using these drugs. Would 18G be enough?

18 grams or mg? i wouldnt be surprised if 18grams killed a horse. that being said you never know what youre getting, there's websites you can see the results of pill tests and it's anything from fent to caffeine to human blood..

it's bc people dont have access to the right drugs, or know the correct amount/way to take them, and the possibility of brain damage
i recently attempted with 2g of heroin and didnt so much as pass out, i assume this was because i swallowed it which is less effective than other routes of administration. overdoses are very hit or miss
anyway do you wanna be friends everyone is being really mean to me but thats ok if not

Because this is one case. If you search this forum you will see dozens of threads of unsuccessful OD attempts. Dying with a prescription OD is like hitting the lottery. Just because you hear of one person winning the lottery does not mean that everyone who plays wins. On this forum we favor mostly painless and reliable methods of suicide so ODs are not recommended.

Not here to argue with anyone, but technically every method that involves a drug (or a combination) is an OD. As such, N, SN or the 5 drug protocol used in some countries for AS/VE, are all OD.

Yes, there are exceptions on this forum. I would also add, if you got your hands on high quality fentanyl, that would be an acceptable method of OD. However, I was referring to the general OD on prescription or OTC medications that people usually ask about. I get your point, however, it is annoying to have to append an asterisk every time I mention OD's on this forum.

Because they are random, unreliable and can involve a great deal of pain. Worst case, permanent damage to organs.

Sure you can find case studies on fatal outcomes for OD's, but you sure can find many who survived and deal with the consequences.

Thats why it's generally considered a non method here.
