I was wondering if it's possible to apply the "night night" method to partial hanging. As I read some time ago, the "night night" method consists of placing two cornbags on the sides of the neck and tightening with a rope, blocking the blood flow to the carotid arteries. If this method could be applied to partial hanging, by positioning the cornbags on the sides of the neck and applying pressure with your own body, the compression would be directed laterally to the neck and not on the Adam's apple.

Honestly sounds smart, i've been thinking the same thing but don't have any corn bags. Everytime i try partial hanging the pressure pushes in my adam's apple and i can't breath which i think is what's keeping me from going the full way

What are you using? I used to have this problem before and it turned out to be because I was using too stretchy of a rope. Once I started using a necktie it became a lot easier to position it in a way where my airway isn't impaired.
