I've been through about every opioid and non opioid painkiller there is.
IMO the best medicines we have in this age are Paracetamol ,Antibiotics and Vaccines.
If I have a migraine,I avoid the opiates and go right for the paracetamol;it works every time.
If you are admitted to hospital and have a temperature, you will be administered paracetamol. It is THE only medicine that will work for us,even in this age.

Go to other doctor and get a recipe for the same thing if nothing else works. Usually in private sector doctors can only see what their own doctor has prescribed to you.

Dark Net markets sell them. Also I have seen some companies selling them if you live in USA.

Bear in mind that Codeine is a very short acting opiate,so it will wear off quickly.
Tramadol is totally synthetic and IMO, and the opinions of every other opiate user I know, a pile of shit.
It may seem like the answer is to increase the strength of opiates, but there are many other pain relief medications that work in different ways. It's all trial and error, so work with your doctor and remember, going right for the high dose oxy leaves nowhere to go when the pain increases in time.
Also, don't forget, most painkillers are useless when it comes to ctb.
