All I have is an antiemetic (lurasidone), beta blocker (metoprolol), and benzo (clonazepam). I was planing on fasting for 8 hours, taking the metoprolol, lurasidone (80mg), edit: and the clonazepam (2mg) an hour before the SN. Then take the 25g of SN in 50ml of water.

How likely is it that I am successful? I know I'm missing a couple things but its all I can get my hands on.

That sounds good to me. Taking clonazepam with SN won't give the clonazepam enough time to take effect. You need to know how long clonazepam takes to work in your body and take the maximum dose possible that won't make you sleepy. I'm going to take 6 mg of clonazepam 1 hour before SN so it has time to work. You need to know how clonazepam acts in your body. Also, you'll be on an empty stomach, which will make the clonazepam work faster.

Looks solid. This method seems hard to mess up as long as you take on it an empty stomach and don't get found too early.

Might want to prepare a second cup of SN in case you vomit early after drinking the first cup.

I hope you find your peace

After doing some more research I have decided to add an antacid 30 min before I take the SN, just not sure which one to get.

Magnesium+aluminium hydroxide or calcium carbonate for me.

It looks like Walgreens carries Tagamet. I guess I'll just go with that.

I read a post that said research has proven that the antacid isn't necessary. Anyone know if this is true? It won't let me edit my original post but I wanted to add that the dosage of the metoprolol is 75mg and I'll be taking the antacid 30 min before the SN.

If you dig deep enough through the threads on here, there are claims the newer versions of PPH were edited to say that pH reduction is no longer advocated after reports stating that the antacid may do more harm than good.

I'm not sure of the validity of these claims.

Okay so no antacid I guess.

I am really skeptical that the Lurasidone will work as an antiemetic. Especially if I can't take it with food which is required for all of it to be absorbed. I guess it wouldn't be in Stan's Guide if it didn't work though?

If it needs to be taken with food, perhaps it just needs some source of oil, just like certain vitamins? Have you looked into the reason for why it needs to be taken with food?

Google AI says if you don't take it with 350 calories of food only 50% gets absorbed. I guess maybe that's enough for it to work as an antiemetic?

Ask your favourite prompt-based colleague to compare the following by mechanism of action:
metoclopramide, ondansetron, lurasidone, olanzapine

The last two are anti-psychotics. The response should give you a good idea as to whether lurasidone is suitable as an anti-emetic.

This thread seems to explain it fareley well. Here lurasidone is not on the list of antipsycotics with antiemetic properties.

So I decided to switch from lurasidone to metoclopramide for the antiemetic. I will make an updated SN protocol post once I pick it up from the pharmacy.
