Lately i've been really big into oasis… probably because of the music but also liam and noel's insane codependent incestuationship… (please ask me about this… dying! to talk about it)

right now i'd say I really enjoy most of their albums… besides the obvious, dig out your soul, don't believe the truth and heathen chemistry are hidden gems! even be here now is growing on me!

There are so many things i'd like to say about oasis, but for my mood right now i'd say If We Shadows Are… (Demo) is what'd i'd like to add to this thread..

If We Shadows Are - Youtube Link

noel's more melancholic songs like: take me away, half the world away, sad song, and talk tonight are always such a great listen. Even in his solo projects, Dead in the Water & Dead to the World immediately make you feel the passion woven into the lyrics.. love u noely g!!

although… all of liam's songs are even more devastating when you consider the context behind them…

I'm Outta Time - MV

this song, along with Guess God Thinks I'm Abel are about noel! knowing that the band breaks up in 2009 and DOYS is their last album release always breaks my heart. After going through tons of interviews and documentaries, you understand liam's pure love for noel. It's cute!

honorable mention:
gem archers's B-side Quiet Ones. Heart-achingly beautiful lyrics.

cheers, jack x

Anyone else listen to Mustard Service or Her's? I love this music. They are young people so I find their music to be uniquely relatable in the modern age. Also some of their songs are so emotional and include themes of death or grief or loneliness or suicide. "Her's" is particularly emotional to me because the two musically talented guys who I now look up to died in a car crash a while ago. I would recommend "You dont know this guy" by Hers, and "Yucky's Song" and "Pleasantries (With Your Lover)" by Mustard Service to start. But they both have plenty of bangers. Lmk what u think.

I will never marry my love
I will die waiting for the bells
Death, come pull me underwater
I have nothing left to fear from hell

I was gifted at the music
I was born the day the year was new
Someone has stolen all the water
I keep the pills inside an urn

Lord, show me my daughter
Show me her before she burned

We go walking in the hallways
Now and then a record gives a tune
Sometimes we hang from our chambers
Baudelaire in the afternoon

The yellow rose is a stranger
The devil's invitation in bloom

I stand looking at my chamber
There are many things upon the floor
The blade is ready for the slaughter
The Virgin Mary hangs on the door
I will arrive at death's border
Take back the cover God has torn from me

I am at the river with baby
Her father enters with a leap
Hold her head above the water
She is pale against the stream

I am the horse beneath his daughter
He is the mountain underneath

Hey... where are all the pop music lovers? I want to share a few of my favorite songs. First up is the one that's most special to me.

''We'd both stopped searching for any acceptance
And rejection always was our bitter pill
Cause, I have no precious gifts to give you
I only have four words
Darling, I love you
I love you still''

''Cause my world stopped spinning
Nothing I can do so I pray that a DJ lifts my heart''

And then, another one, from the queen:
''You're a shelter from the storm
Give me comfort in your arms''

I'm a REALLY big fan of EDEN -- my first concert experience was one of his earlier last year! I felt really blessed to be able to go.
His music means a lot to me, to pair with the lyrics he puts together. I can relate them to my own life so-so. So here are a few of my top picks from him from every album!!! I'd totally recommend to give him a listen!!

I know it's dark but it helps // Still is one of my favorites. I have a LOT of favorites from just EDEN alone, I couldn't pick only one, but it's definitely up there on the list.
"I know it's dark but it helps. I know it's dark but it's hell" hits juuust right!!!

It doesn't matter who we are, we'll keep running through the dark // End Credits is one that means a lot to me. In a sea of gloomy songs, this one gives me optimism.
"You can wish away forever but you'll never find a thing like today" Reminds me to keep going, make the best out of my day.

In my dreams you'll call me back, but I hope you don't // Call Me Back is a song that I've lowkey been sleeping on until I went to the concert and really listened to it. I am absolutely enthralled by it.
"Now nowhere feels like home" resonates so deeply.

And maybe they'll remember me when I'm gone, that's all I could ever want // Rock + Roll was my top song from him for the loooongest time. Still might be... The entire album I LOVE. I even bought the vinyl!!
"And I ain't scared of livin'" It's just too real to me, and this song resonates the most I think...

Confusion has its cost, wave pools in the dark crashing 'round my head // How to Sleep is one I adore. Honestly, I think the tour version is even better, and it's the one I listen to the most.
"How do you love when you're frightened?" me too bro me too

So just breathe, it's almost over. // Falling in Reverse OH MY GOD!!! THIS SONG IS TOO GOOD OMG IF THERE'S ANY SONG YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO. IT'S THIS ONE AND START//END. This one never fails to make me cry EVERY. SINGLE. LYRIC. Just cuts so deep and it's soothing in a way that reminds me I am not alone.
"And I'll be there for you when no one else cares. And this is it, as far as we've gotten since. So know a good thing when you got it, and I hope you know, you don't go alone." might even make it my signature...

I hope I can put at least someone else on to EDEN!! His music has helped me during my worst times. They mean so much to me.

Love Kanoguti's work, as always. I'd write more on it, but I'm too tired and lazy rn, also no-one cares.

This is Tuvan kargyraa throat singing accompanied by a masterful instrumental. I love the way that the accordion and the voice of the singer fuse and clash in this recording. They're so unalike in sound yet so metaphorically "symbiotic" in their function; the singer's voice is so full of struggle and effort, and it is like his instrument cheers him on throughout it all. Their relationship is like a primitive, father-son foraging expedition: the father treading through thorny brush while his little son sits on his shoulders and babbles in infantile joy. Tunes as unique as this are hard to come by.

I can't hear it anymore except in my head but this song makes me cry every time. Because I want to believe in the lyrics. It's such a peaceful song. I'd give anything to just drown in it with no repercussions.

I truly believe every hearing person should be able to experience this song at least once.

Heads up it does have a LONG part at the beginning with no singing but trust me, it's worth it.
