i saw "the room next door", and basically it's about a woman commiting euthanasia (illegaly) with support from her friend. (support in case is just company and not actual assistance)
i'm not too sure what i think about it as a whole honestly, but the aspect of the movie that got me thinking the most was about how traumatizing seeing someone die is.
it's not about the idea, because i do rationally think a person in pain deserves the choice to die (and the support for it), but when you actually get to it, of course it's a very traumatizing experience.
not a very pleasant thought for a suicidal person in general, but it made me curious about assisted suicide, since a lot of people here both seek and help others needing it.
i never thought about doing it for all the many reasons, but i wonder how you'd feel during it. it's a scary thought
