Discussion mixed feelings to delete/keep my ss account

ive had a really good time here, theres people ive talked to who make understanding myself and other things much easier and helps me recognise things in a much clearer and better way.

lately ive been thinking about having my account gone but, im the most worried about my posts, i know they all cant be deleted and theres a 6 hour time frame to do it urself as well. i feel like ive been too personal and im just worried for the person im so attached to, i wouldnt want him knowing what i say here not because im bad mouthing him or anything, i just think ive shared too much lol.

but, i think about keeping my account and coming back time to time. i do feel understood and other things but, i feel like im sharing too much. honwstly, id just want my public posts changed to redacted or just the text being removed by request but, i doubt thats possible though lol.

anyways, i love chtistmas and i get so happy that i cant hide it. i lkve presents and when games do special events around christmas.

you could archive each of your posts in a doc or something and then delete them?

I'm sure it's very unlikely the person whom you care for will come across anything you've written here and be able to somehow relate it at all to you <3. It's very possible they may never even hear of this site at all, and even if they did, it'd be like finding a needle in a hay stack, after all :).

And if you want to remove some of your more sensitive posts, you can always report your own posts and request mod removal too~ from what I hear, removal requests are honoured fairly often as well.

I have reported old posts of mine with the message "deleting for safety reasons" after the deletion window is gone, but you'd have to ask a mod if doing that en masse would be overwhelming. If you end up leaving, stay safe! And good luck, SaSu will miss you

As @webb&flow managed to get in before me, we always sound more identifiable to ourselves since we know every missing piece of information needed to flesh out the story. Your only real option is picking a few (unofficial limit has been said to be 10) of the most identifiable ones and have those axed.

I'll teach you the slow annoying way first, to encourage you and others to dig around the site for other features not explained in this reply...

1. Find and tap "Help" at the bottom of any site page:




2. Find and tap "BB codes"




3. Discover the vast amount of ridiculous shit you can actually do with you posts (many but not all of these functions are available via the message field toolbar).

(note that HIDEREPLY seems to work inconsistently, and HIDEGROUP basically not at all, given there is no known list of what the groups are [member classes by post count don't seem to work])

i might keep my account up but, i might try to stay off for periods of time. ill probably post updates after i do get to see the clinical psychologist!

oh, ive chosen 3 to get removed which feel personal about me.

thats an intereating feature, ive seen u use it a few times and wondered how u even did it. ill keep that in mind when i may post again!
