https://www.psypost.org/lsd-microdosing-linked-to-acute-mood-improvements-in-adults-with-depression/

Saw this article the other day and was wondering about peoples thoughts or experiences in this matter. I don't think it'll magically "cure" depression or get rid of suicidal ideation, but it looks as though microdosing LSD might help alleviate depressive symptoms. The research in this area is, as noted by the study authors, very limited due to the makeup of the testing group, lack of a double-blind study, and historical legal prohibitions on researching it. It appears it could be a better remedy than traditional SSRIs, SNRIs, or other medical interventions which often come with side effects to the person taking it. But some of the side effects of LSD consumption may be similar to the effects of prescription drugs at a clinical level so it's a bit tough to tell.

Never helped me once. I feel off on very small micro doses that's it. I prefer larger doses. Tends to make me appreciate life a bit more for a few days, before I end up back to normal. Especially when I have a super bad trip, it's lovely to feel normal lol

I've taken a lot of psych drugs and actual drugs so maybe my brain is just broke. It helps people for sure.

Microdosing mdma really made me happy, but it messes your head up after a while

When I take LSD, it makes me extra tearful and desperate now. I don't get visuals. I think I am autistic, and drugs work differently on autistic minds.

I did, years ago, have one fun trip on LSD, and two or three therapeutic ones, so I wouldn't discount it, saying that. Just nowadays...

Also, don't know if it's the real stuff or not. They sell fake stuff called NBiome or something like that, so you don't know what you are getting unless you test it.

I've microdosed psilocybin. It didn't have awful side effects like anti-depressants, but it made me anxious and worsened my intrusive thoughts, almost like I was bordering on psychosis. Felt like drinking a very strong cup of coffee, and made things feel "different" I guess. It's hard to describe. I think I just don't react well to things that mess with my serotonin. I would have continued taking them if it weren't for the reasons stated above. Worth a shot if you think you could benefit though.
