Meto from an urgent care

Hello,
Any success with getting prescribed?
Has anyone tried? Say you've got a terrible migraine and cant stop vomiting and nausea
What about Ondansetron? Will that work?
I've read it's an anti emetic....for use with N

There are several factors that can cause vomiting. Metoclopramide can alleviate two of them depending on the dosage, ondansetron only one. Ondansetron is more effective in chemotherapy because the chemo-medication damages the intestine and this inevitably leads to the release of serotonin. This is not the case with N.

My opinion is - never try to take more than 10mg meto at once. No matter what they say in PPH. The side effects of an overdose are hefty and not rare.

Got it but everywhere and everyone says the stat dose required is 30mg 30 mins prior to N.....are you suggesting otherwise? I mean I want to be able to at least not screw this up as i have everything else in my life....

I know, that's why I personally would only consider the 10mg every 8 hours over two days. 30mg is the maximum daily dosage, 3x10mg.

Or you take domperidone because this stuff can hardly cross the blood brain barrier, it has significantly fewer side effects with almost the same mode of action.

When you say side effects it confuses me....suggested ctb method is 30mg stat dose 30 mins prior then n and you go to sleep, who.carea.about side effects your never waking up.

I managed to get zofran from an urgent care once but they also gave me a butt injection of it since they thought if I was vomiting so much I wouldn't keep it down. This was a while ago though
