It has gotten worse in the recent months I'm spending hours doing it. I had the same cycle when I was way younger. It's the only thing that doesn't give me many side effects, things like cannabis makes me paranoia worse and trigger psychotic episodes, which I was trying recently.

In the daytime I scramble to save content from insta or wherever which I had uninstalled for a few years, but I also feel so tired of waking up and doing chores even eating feels like a chore, although I like food not necessarily like the idea of eating to survive. I have lost interest in pretty much everything, don't have interest in watching movies, travel or food. I feel like I'm forcing myself to do it to pass time.

It's one of the things I can live for, but I can't imagine this lifestyle in my 30s and the loneliness. I don't have as much of interest when I'm not doing it, which I guess is a little weird, but I guess I'm overdoing it at this point. For a pretty long time it has been a problem since I started way too young at many times I can't fall asleep without doing it. I'm kinda weak physically already, not sure if it has to do with that

It sounds like you might struggle with anhedonia as well.

Stop worrying about it. But you obviously need to find something to do that will occupy a lot of your time. Using masturbation to fill a gap won't do you any harm, but it's not addressing the underlying issue.

Yeah, but I don't have the will power to do anything else, and since I have been unemployed. I have a massive amount of free time.

I wish I had the courage to off myself early instead of distracting myself, I have gotten way too used to this

I have been through been such periods when I'm in a "depressive psychotic episode". I go insane if my mind doesn't want to do anything

Go for a walk? Do something different. Try to break the routine.

Honestly, don't see how whacking the pud is all that bad, especially if you don't have anyone to do it for you. It really harms nobody and is a pretty good stress reliever.
