he hasn't said the name of our side but it's obvious, in the video he talked about a now dead member and how effected his parents and his environment is by his death, but I think these people are pretending to be angels since if his environment was really that kind a person so young wouldn't have decided to CTB. they probably just wanna put the blame on us instead of taking accountability it seems.

Then there is the insulting comment about our ideologies which I hate, hating ideologies is always bad unless it isn't celebrating our cruel society. he also doesn't explain why it's bad but only that it's stupid and bad like that's gonna convince anyone but of course "PeOpwe dIEyIng MaKeS me sAd" is so much more rational and grounded in logic.

That was my rant, it's just really pisses me of when people try to portray life as this AMAZING thing, when for the many people on this forum that's just not accessible, if you are mentally or physically ill it will most likely prevent from living a good life and get you patronized your whole life too. of course it's easy for a mentally stable individual to say that life is good, but for people like me this was never our reality, I was always the one who behaved wrong no matter how hard I tried I could never seem fully mentally stable.

genuinely i wish so badly these happy ppl could get this . how do they not realise how fucking terrible your situation has to be for survival instinct to lose out like if anybody on this site decides to ctb theres no way that the site itself is to blame , theres no way that some words on a screen can defeat human survival instinct , the cause and effect is all backwards , its ridiculous

we're just here to figure out how to actually deal with these problems because if you ask anywhere else , all you're gonna get is the "Help is available - call blahblahblah!" shit from errybody -v-

Lmao I tried to find it back when I first saw it, was unsuccessful and then 2-3 years passed after doing research on how to ctb I stumbled on this site now I rediscovered the video and am cackling knowing lots of the people that watched the video probably wanted to get on the forum

It's kinda like how people are now blaming chatgpt for psychosis episodes. Like yes! If you ignore literally all other factors while pretending social issues and genetics don't exist then EVIL WEBSITE KILLS PEOPLE.

Don't get me wrong, I know websites and online social groups CAN impact a person's trajectory. But people LOVE to pretend those things matter more than the primary difficulties someone was ACTUALLY FACING at the time.

I don't think it's wrong to want people to live. But like, I do wonder how often these "social media advocates" check in on their own friends and family members. Not to be trite or whatever, but they should enact those values if they want to see them reflected in the world.

Imo he got a lot wrong. That we encourage others to CTB. I only saw that once and several of us told them to quit it and let this individual naturally do whatever they want. In the short 3 years I have been on this site I have felt more unadulterated love and care on here than in my 30+ years of life. While I get our actions will hurt those who care for us you were aware something was wrong with us. You just choose to ignore it hoping it would pass. Now you upset cause and feel wronged because it didn't and we took actions to resolve our trauma. How dare us. Give me a break.

i always say that if those people actually cared as much as they say they do, they would focus on fixing the conditions that led to that person becoming suicidal, rather than just punishing the person further and demonizing the one place online that they can vent about these feelings
