It's disgusting to me how your problems, your shortcomings, your trauma—your so-called "lack of life"—are mostly your fault.

Yet…

When you succeed, when you're as intelligent as you are, when your luck carries you far, when your will to live is so strong that you actually want to achieve your goals and leave your mark on the world—then you suddenly have a swarm of people ready to swoop in and take credit for it all.

When your life is shit, that's all on you.
When your life is filled with wealth and accomplishments, they circle like vultures, desperate for their piece of the pie.
