This is not an attempt but not a recovery either. I'm leaving because SaSu is no longer bringing me joy. My depression is getting worse and worse and I can't get much enjoyment out of anything. I'm fucking tired.

To be honest, I don't know what will happen after I disable my account. I might catch the bus or I might seek help. Or maybe I'll just vanish into thin air. Or maybe the universe ceases to exist and wipes out all life along with it.

I hope I have been helpful to you. I still might come back someday (I believe users are allowed to reactivate their disabled accounts), but for now I need to come offline from everything.

You don't have to disable your account. You can just stop using the site. (I sometimes take long breaks - months - from the site when I feel I need a break.) If there is any possibility you may wish to return in the future, it's probably simpler not to disable.

Interacting with others like us also gives us comfort because we feel understood. When everyone else turns their backs on you, here people open their arms to you. That's how I feel... accompanied.
