Wow ! This is good news , there's hope for non barbaric treatments along the way... I didn't try this as I discovering it whilst reading... As much as I would love to give Keta a try, it's pretty hard to find where I live, same with pure MDMA ( apparently microdosing on this can help )

Laughing gas is a dissociative like ketamine. But it only lasts about a minute (unless you have a tank with a mask set up i guess). I haven't experienced any lasting effects from it. It's quite enjoyable though, especially in combination with other substances.

I was given "gas and air" on wonderful ambulance journey to hospital. I asked what it was, if it was nitrogen, which provoked a bit of a puzzled reaction from the paramedic. I just said that I was curious about what it was. I didn't feel much benefit as I could barely breathe in but after huffing on it for God knows how long, it made me a little relaxed and a bit kooky. There was some monitor thing kept on playing a kind of jingle sound, I kept on asking who was playing Pac Man which got a bit of a chuckle from the paramedics. Might have been much more pleasant if I could have inhaled it properly. Ah well.

Few years from now: "Cocaine and Heroine solve Depression"
Basically we're going back to 19th century / 60s

No laughing matter though, pushing 100s of meds, "patients who'd previously not responded to 12 different antidepressants" (sounds fun big pharma). I'm shocked (shocked I tell you!) that a common cheap anaesthetic, painkiller, euphoric, dissociative substance helps depression. Really didn't see that coming. Who would have guessed. Better electrocute people ..

I've found plenty of things to get rid of my depression temporarily. Kratom does wonders, for instance. The only problem is that whenever something helps me a lot I can't stop taking it and then I build up a tolerance, plus get an addiction. For those of us with highly addictive brains, I'm just throwing out a word of caution...

I have thought about this, but apparently Cocaine doesn't last long. Saying that, I have just started a new MAOI called Selegiline, which can make Cocaine last 3x longer. Not to give TMI, but sex on Cocaine is amazing. So now I just need a supplier!

Heroin, not so sure for depression. I tried it once in desperation, it doesn't do much for me. But Buprenorphine has very good reviews for depression.

@cant cry I wish I could cycle the things that help. Modafinil helped me so much last night. But everything stops working on me and scared to blow it. Like maybe 2 days a week Tramadol,2 days Modafinil, 1 day psychedelic, 2 days to fill...

I don't have addictive personality (apart from books and shopping) but I find stuff stops working for me after a week or two. So now when something works I'm scared to try it again. Like Polygala Tenuifoila worked for two beautiful weeks, then fail. Etc

I'm very skeptical, I have used laughing gas a lot recreationally and I really doubt it would have any lasting positive affect.
