The second you drink it, you severely damage your organs and there's no fixing that. It must be a very solidified choice to kill yourself before drinking it because like jumping or hanging, if you survive then you are going to end up much worse off than you were before.

That's just not true. Most people have recovered with minimal/no lasting damage after an SN attempt IF medical intervention was sought. And that's mainly because SN is very lethal in most cases where medical intervention isn't sought, so lasting damage wouldn't be a concern in those cases anyway.

The only thing we can agree on is that you shouldn't drink it unless you're extremely sure you want to die. SN, when done right, is pretty much a guarantee.
