20 stories sooounndss fine, as long as you don't land on your legs.. should be very quick, though, humans have a tendency to freak out when falling, I don't think most of us can escape that feeling.

They say about 15 stories and above makes death extremely likely (like over 95 percent or so, don't quote me on that). In terms of how quick and painless, it all depends on how you land. If you land on yr head, that should be quick. If you land in another position, you might feel pain before dying but in theory, that shouldn't last long. the big issue of course is being Able to overcome yr SI. If you can do that, the fall will be terrifying but it would last that long. just make sure there is nothing to break yr fall on the way down (and of course there is no person you have the chance on landing on).

20 stories is high enough to be fatal. At that point, your landing position becomes irrelevant as the impact is pretty much guaranteed to end you

some in here mention a guaranteed fatality rate at certain heights but there's been people who lived through 45+ story falls, some not even injured (and one who slept through his fall). it's a personal preference but I really wouldn't rely on this method, it's not as foolproof as some others, and if you don't live around skyscrapers it can be a bitch to find a decent building. others may know more on the rates of success though
