jumping is a pretty good guarantee, if the spot is high enough.
i'm just scared to accidentally hit someone on the ground.
so what would happen if i jumped from a building, with a very long rope attached to an anchor point, and then around my neck, hypothetically?
like... when i then (hypothetically) do the actual jump, what would happen step by step?
just whatever you can tell me would happen or even speculate might happen

damn... that might be true
I guess it would depend on how long the rope is as well. As your northern neighbour, at least we have mountains here. But am I really going to travel for hours just to jump off a cliff 😅 I understand your concern about not traumatizing or hurting people though

Complete decapitation is peaceful because of complete cut-off of blood flow to the brain, because the brain goes unconscious in 1-5 seconds in most people, and rarely in 15-30 seconds, but never in 2-6 minutes.

ahh, so norway or sweden, right?
the mountains would hypothetically be a possibility, but i would just be afraid to end up on the news with a major search/investigation,
if they can't find the body, if it's some secluded area. sometimes i've seen the news spend months focusing on only ONE missing person, and that person becomes straight up famous for disappearing, in a suicide or what might have happened.
... and yeah, that's a big concern :) (with the point in your last sentence)

so as your head is falling from the 50 story building, you are still aware of what's going on for 5 seconds, even with your head off your body.
that's fucking terrifying lol

Yeah, but most painless peaceful suicide methods are heavily restricted, and choking of the airway as a suicide method would be pure torture, so this would be the only thing I can think of

At least here in Norway, if a death is suspected to be suicide related, the media will usually avoid reporting it as such and instead describe it as an accident or a fall, even if the police may suspect otherwise.
