Well I joined at a new company three weeks ago. I have joined at a senior position. I have actually three years of experience but I have shown three more years. Basically fake experience.
Within the first week I was assigned a task and given an unreasonable deadline. I somehow finished it without caring for quality. My boss later on showed me my mistakes.
There are few issues I faced with the software. These are basics, only a freshere would not know these. I did try to explore them myself, but couldn't really find a solution and I stopped using my brain and asked for guidance from my boss. The boss resolved the issue and said to me this is very basic , even new joiners know it. I wish I could be persistent to solve a problem but my depression is such that I immediately give up and ask for help. Well , I just hope they don't fire me.
