Here's what it says..

" If the airway is constricted, and full suspension achieved (i.e. feet fully off the floor), this method, at least initially, is likely to be very painful, as the person struggles for air against the compression of the noose and against the weight of their own body, being supported entirely by the neck and jaw. Clark3 quotes estimates of 1 to 3 minutes before unconsciousness sets in, with full death within 20 minutes. "

Very painful and 1 to 3 min before unconsciousness sets in..this is the opposite of what we read on this forum

I have read several scientific articles and watched around 10 -15 hanging videos, all of them mentioned that person looses consciousness within 10-15 seconds. I think it will be painful for that 15 seconds, but in the video they dont seem like they experienced pain. There are nice scientific articles from working group on human asphyxia. U can google it

There is a lot of poor information out there.
If you watch the video's out there, people pass out in 10 to 20 seconds.
I doubt it is comfortable, but done correctly is is far from the worse way to go.

There is a full suspension video on the hanging thread in the resources sticky, I'm not sure what page, I think less than 10 pages in. The woman did it on a chat from her hostel room. I didn't watch long enough to see how quickly she lost consciousness.
