People always say that things will get better but why wait and see ? When chances are they do and then something else comes along and makes things worse again?
It's a endless cycle.
It depends. It depends on your circumstances and your expectations. Nothing is preordained.
Could you be with afflicted with physical and/or mental illness? Yes. Could you recover from said ailments? Also yes.
Will you experience physical and emotional pain, suffering, grief, loss, exhaustion, hopelessness and anxiety? Since they're inevitable, I'd say most likely.
Could you become a victim to rape, sexual assault, abuse, trafficking, mutilation, violence, war, carnage? Maybe, the world is rampant with such crimes. Will you get justice and closure? Probably not, considering the legal system and corruption.
Could you lose financial security and be reduced to eating one meal a day, sleeping on someone else's couch, working multiple jobs and yet barely scrounging up enough money to survive? Yes. Could you also live a comfortable life of relative financial stability? Yes. Will money buy you everything you desire? To some extent, perhaps.
Will you still have to work everyday for decades until your bones crumble under the weight of your skin? Most likely, unless you're extremely wealthy.
Will you ever find meaning and directive in this repetitive, cyclical life? Perhaps, but it'll be transient.
Will the environment continue to degrade, and war and crime continue to ravage this world? Indubitably, yes.
It's really a matter of weighing the good and the bad. You might learn to tolerate and endure the bad, and appreciate and revel in the good. Or you might not.
Personally, I'd rather not. My issues with life aren't circumstantial, but rather existential.
