Ok, so I have the anti-emetic prescribed to me now and the SN is hopefully on it's way. Is it going to be easy or hard to get the benzos prescribed from a new psychiatrist? I have history of hospitalizations and a lengthy mental health record, I'm worried that asking for benzos so soon after getting the anti-emetic will raise suspicion.

Hell no! It's super easy. 5 years ago my father forced/pushed me to go to a psychiatrist, despite the fact that I was already seeing a clinical psychologist. He is the type of person that think that all mental "problems" can be solved by pooping the trash that psychiatrists prescribe. Sorry, not sorry. I know a bunch of people here are going to be upset with that, but that is what I think. What I can tell you... Okey, rant over. So, yeah it is super easy, you don't even need to tell him an elaborated story. Tell him that you are really struggling with anxiety because of work/college and he will prescribe you a good amount of benzos :smiling:. I honestly couldn't believe that after telling him my "story" the solution was giving me pills! It's the only thing that they really know to do, prescribe pills... For context, this was in a western european country and the psychiatrist was a private practice one. Also, I know that GP doctors in the public health system prescribe benzos themself and in a pretty liberal way (what an irresponsibility...), so you can try luck with that.
