• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Thinking about deleting all (or at least the most i'm able to) my social media accounts and factory resetting my phone and computer before the act. Could this go bad in some way?

you'd lose all your data if you survive your attempt, which is always a possibility. it depends on how reliable your method is in general. i've deleted my accounts before but i'm still alive, so that's a pain.

Oh, completely forgot that was a possibility :( Is there any alternatives to that? I have specific info i don't want anyone in my family to know (such as browsing history and some other stuff).

you can always just delete your browsing history and the passwords you have saved to your account. then no one can log into them.

Before ctb I will delete all my suicide-related browsing history from all of my phones and tablets and my PC. I will leave all the other non-suicide history intact. That's my plan. If my SN attempt fails (I hope it doesn't), at least I will have all of my other data still intact.

I'm gonna say that's always a good Idea. The reason being if you survive people will pour through those things. Even stuff you wouldn't think they would care about they will, and the will use it to their prolife agendas advantage.

software like veracrypt makes the data useless unless decrypted with the right key
And Luks if you use Linux, but you probably already knew that if you use Linux. I also use a portable browser from an encrypted drive. One drive for windows. Veracrypt, and a luks for Linux.

honestly idk. one of the main things that have brought me to this point is self isolation and pretty much deleting everything over and over again. generally id probably say no tho

You could go full deleting everything whenever you're sure you won't be needing these things again.

On a more bright side, if (hypothetical scenario) failing somehow made you change your mind, you could use this as an opportunity to restart everything on mostly fresh accounts.... Social media sites often only hide your account for a while before actually deleting it, there's a chance you could simply reactivate a lot of them, too.

However a factory reset will be a factory reset unless you have your backups, just remember that. I made a mistake similarly to that recently and I regret it now!

what would be the point? after you're dead, whatever happens to your stuff wont be your problem anymore cause you'll be dead.
