Discussion Is fasting really necessary for SN?

I get 7~9 hours of fasting is pretty reasonable but is 24+ hours of fasting really that necessary

Ironically, it was probably fasting too long due to bile build up. I don't really have an answer though. I just didn't die.

You took 25g and didn't vomit or anything but just didn't die..? Then is it possible that the SN was not pure enough or fake?

Personally, i cant fast for more than 8 because of acid reflux. I really dont know why its recommended more than that as most food is completely digested (or i guess out of the stomach) by that time

It was not

I did test it beforehand and it was 97% purity from what I gathered. I vomited after about 1.5-2 hours. I had every other symptom. I can't rightly explain what went wrong

There seems to be so many variables. Like I don't really understand why I get the fasting part...but how can someone take 25g and not ctb. This is making me think I need to use like 4oz and then use CO as a backup.

You cannot overdo fasting when using the SN method. When my time comes I will fast probably 8-10 hours.

On topic: I think fasting is very important for the SN method. It accelerates the SN absorption of your body. If you take your SN right after your meal, the SN will slowly posion you. You may die without fasting, it's not an automatic fail, but the dying and suffering will be prolonged for hours.
