Yes. My mother had a stroke, and she was never the same. My dad had a heart attack and wasn't able to stand up from the pain. That's not a peaceful or quick way to go out.

Very, most strokes aren't painful besides maybe a headache and seizures but you will never be the same if you recover. Heart attacks are notoriously painful/ uncomfortable and can last hours depending on variation.

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

imo heart attack or stroke very painful and can cause brain damage which is more extreme torture .

but this are just a few of the horrors that can happen to anyone

imo very high probability for every human of eventually getting a heart attack stroke or cancer or dementia which are all torture imo.

there is a high probability of each of these nightmares but for all of them you have to add the probabilties. then you add painful accidents , attacks, grief, depression, other diseases , other horrible things happening. imo eventually something horrible is going to get most people.

to me nothing means anything except avoiding unbearable pain and my suicide asap .only those things relating to that.

so we are born in a negative state you have to constantly work to keep away bad pain from thirst , cold wind, hunger . you have to go the bathroom, shelter yourself , sleep, rest , find food , water ,clean everything , wash yourself, chores, work a job, groceries, take out trash just to exist under threat of something extremely horrible trapping you.

to me i don't care if there weren't any of these horrible threats and labors . i still wouldn't want to do anything they say is so good , important meaningful , beautiful enjoyable. it's all meaningless addictions to me.

plus none of these fleeting pleasure addictions compare to even a few seconds of the worst pain.

the extremely horrible things that can happen far outweigh the meaningless fleeting pleasurable addictions.

of course the threats of many diseases increase exponentially in old age. even younger people can get a heart attack or stroke . but it's much lower probability than old. i'm talking about lifetime probability.

following from ai :
  • Heart Attack (Coronary Heart Disease): Approximately 49% for men and 32% for women at age 40.
  • Cancer: Roughly 40.5% for all Americans. Recent global estimates suggest about 1 in 4 to 1 in 5 people will develop cancer.
  • Dementia: Approximately 42% for Americans who reach age 55, with women (48%) having a higher risk than men (35%) due to longer lifespans.
  • Stroke: About 25% (1 in 4) globally for those over age 25.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) | (.gov) +9

  • specialized studies have calculated the risk of developing any major age-related condition:
  • Stroke or Dementia: The lifetime risk of developing either a stroke or dementia is approximately 1 in 3 (33%) for both sexes, rising to nearly 40% for women who reach age 65.
  • Total Burden: When adding cancer and heart disease to the equation, the probability that an average human will face at least one of these four conditions during their lifetime is extremely high, often estimated to be well over 70-80%

I'm sure either are quite painful. It's all part of the human condition. Nobody wins. You're, basically, a slave to yourself all your life in order to simply maintain your existence, and along the way you're rewarded with various maladies of increasing seriousness (unless you're so unfortunate as to have been born with a serious condition, or acquired a serious condition at a young age), until, finally, one comes along that takes you out.

Varies from person to person and other factors.

My heart attack was not painful at all. I just kept getting dizzy and a little nauseous and then passing out. Once I even fell and made a deep cut on my knee with the pavement but that injury didn't even hurt. Had there not been anyone else around to call for help and the ambulance hadn't gotten me to the hospital in time (I was in and out of consciousness but never had any pain)... I presume I would have died without any pain.

That was about 5 years ago, and I very much regret that I was saved back then. I wish I had been allowed to die from the painless death I was experiencing quite by accident at the time.
