A lot of people I've seen online who have attempted hanging often inform that it is very painful and lasts for a long time-- and with so much time gives you ability to save yourself due to panic (survival instinct). I really do not want to end up with a broken neck (if that's what hanging is gonna do) partial hanging seems okay, but the pain sort of repulses me. Additionally, if being rescued after no O2 in my brain puts me in a very bad cognitive state. . .then I'd have to rethink this.

Partial hanging is difficult to execute and get right, most attempts are failed. Full is better and more effective. As long as you're alone without interruption for the necessary amount of time (at least an hour) and have a good anchor point and materials (rope), so that none of them break. If the procedure is done correctly, you shouldn't feel too much discomfort; you'll only be conscious for 10/15 seconds.

So fully hanging is better? how does one get it right? I can not afford having the " attempt " to be a failure-- is there anyway I could get it right? I'm trying to find a painless way. . .I'm not sure if SN it is, I'm pretty new to this, any guidance would help!

If you are still unsure which method to choose, it might be best to read these threads first:

Thread 'Suicide Resource Compilation'

Thread 'Non-methods that should not be attempted'

Thread 'PPH* January 2025'

*The Peaceful Pill Handbook (methods considered more 'peaceful')

Regarding the full suspension method, I recommend reading this thread first:

Thread 'Evelyn's complete guide on how to hang yourself with both partial and full suspension hanging'

The best way to avoid risks is to get well informed beforehand. Feel free to ask if there's anything in particular you'd like to know.

It is not permitted to give all the information at once. The method must be chosen by each user..

I am glad you asked. There is so much misinformation about hanging it is amazing.
Partial is hard to fo because it is difficult to get enough pressure and you can escape fairly easily.
Neck breaking is not part of normal full suspension. Nor is strangulation. Done correctly, you pass out is 3 to 7 seconds and lack of blood flow kills you.
Please ask questions when you have them.
