Is date important to you?

I either wanted to go yesterday Dec 21 because my dad died this day or on my birthday Jan 8. I think it'd be cool if my headstone said date of birth and death as the same day but different years. If I don't ctb on my birthday will I wait another year for these dates to come around? I don't know.

I gave a thought to doing it the day after my birthday.... one last day for me to do what I want then end this shit.
I can understand what Kyrok is saying though.... but ultimately suicide is about the individual. If a specific date would be something to make your life more "complete" do it. You only get one death so make it good for you : )
My other attempts were just dates that worked for me (alone and had enough meds).

It kills me to see people injured, scared and sad..... and the whole world is just going to look at them bad because they tried to kill themselves....

It used to be, when I was younger. Now I just want to go.... I am making an effort to avoid ruining holidays or other people's birthday, but my date is Jan 5th which means absolutely nothing to me... It's just the day after my visiting sister heads home.

I don't care about the date at all. The hardest part is overcoming survival instinct, and whenever I manage to do that, will be the day I finally go out.

I don't really mind about an exact date, since I cannot guarantee that my survival instinct will be suppressed when it comes (worst case is survival instinct getting stronger as the end nears) so I'm mostly circumstance based. However, time is also a factor for me, but not the main one (could be around a general date, but not necessary a particular day and time).

The only thing about date is that you will want to try every single way you can to overcome depression. So try for a whole year and if it doesn't work. Research a method for suicide but take time to do the method that appeals to you.

When it comes to suicide I honestly don't care about things like date or doing anything that might serve some symbolic purpose really, but I think it's very cool that some people do. :)

I found out that my last 12 days on earth (today, Christmas, through January 5th) are the 12 days of Christmas (I'd never given much thought to what those 12 days actually were before). So, even though I didn't plan that, and didn't really care which day I died, I'm kind of glad my last 12 days have some significance.
