The idea is directly inhaling/sniffing tons of spray deodorant. The reason its done is because of the various chemicals in many aerosol sprays like butane etc.. causing a high or making you pass out if you do put it into your body.

The commonly reported symptoms that could happen is cardiac arrest, suffocation and potentially a coma. Of course there's long term symptoms if none of that happens.

What are the chances that doing this could be a method?

pretty low, i'd think, youd probably pass out before you could get enough into your system to die. and then youd have to deal with long term symptoms. though i am not an expert, so this is just my opinion

It could work in theory as other teens have overdone the spraying in their bathrooms and gassed themselves to death. I ironically saw this on a YouTube video recently. I haven't done research in this method myself though so maybe try and find more cases out there of gass deaths and ot butane related deaths
I saw that vid as well but i feel like you could do the same thing with a bottle of helium. Go in yo upurcloset close all th holes and open the bottol and wait......

Ps sorry im feeling a bit out of it so my grammar and spelling is bad

I'm not a cosmetic chemist, but I doubt you would have any success with this. The deodorant would have been manufactured with safe levels of chemicals so that people wouldn't end up seriously hurting themselves. That kind of thing is usually required by law. Unless you buy hundreds and hundreds of bottles...I guess

I tried it while in mental hospital. Didn't die but my nervous system issues got worse. I need to do something reliable. I plan to do sn when I leave psych ward.

I don't think so. There are people who get high by directly inhaling air freshener and other household chemicals.

I guess there's a chance it could work, but it doesn't seem reliable. I saw a story of someone who took a huff of compressed air and that was enough to cause brain death (they were in a coma on life support for about two weeks I think but they eventually pulled the plug). The chances of things working out that nicely if you were to recreate it are very low however.
