In some moments i feel like i could just let my heart stop beating if i relaxed enough. Is that wishful thinking?

I'm not sure if its possible or not. Though I have vague memories of reading about it. I've actually thought about this by drinking tons of highly caffeninated beverages like soda with high caffeine content or energy drinks.

Not possible. Your heart is controlled by electrical signals you have no control over. And a caffeine OD would be miserable and probably not work.

I've read of a couple of people dying from drinking too much caffeine. Though it was probably a combination of factors that led to their deaths. Also, as you say, it probably wouldn't be painless and not fun.

Sweating, shaking, heart racing, nausea & vomiting, terrible anxiety. I mean, enough of anything will kill you, water included, but honestly I think it would be difficult for someone with a healthy heart to pull off.
