I'm so worried about my family...

I feel unrelenting dread and fear about the future but I'm feeling really sad to leave my family and extremely worried that my death will damage them irrevocably. I wish that this wouldn't affect other people.

Simply distant yourself and after some time you'll get used to it. Same feeling as any other people, no longer care about them.

That's tough, I not only will feel guilty but grieve within myself, all the people I will never see again

You can't. It's the hardest reality. Fightingsioux once told me - it's easy to leave the world, but to leave YOUR world is the difficult part. What you leave behind. The hole, the mess, the loss. Nothing can correct it. It haunts me every day (I have children).
