i hear some people say that there is no such thing as ugly, but that's not true. some people like me just failed the genetic lottery, though in my case i failed so bad that i practically owe debt to the genetic lottery. i grew up looking alright, though as puberty began i began to rapidly gain weight and all of my horrendous features began to show around 10/11. my lips are absolutely massive and the shape to them is bad, i look like i got bad lip filler. my chin is small and under developed, my teeth are tiny and spaces way too far apart, i look like i floss with a banana. my eye bags are so sunken in, dark, and big that they are like curators in my face. and i have a very unfortunate lazy eye that keeps getting worse. my cheeks are so round they hide my ears, my hairline is beginning to recede and thin. my nose is so wide you could park a car on it, and don't even get me started with how dirty i constantly look even after i clean myself down to the very atom. when my motivation wasn't as bad i would do intense skin care and daily showers, but yet i still constantly looked dirty. i look like a pedophile, which isn't a big problem when you are a kid but now that i am an adult its a big problem. and don't even get me started on my body, seriously don't my fingers are too tired to type it all

i am ugly, objectively. if i was brave enough to show it you would all agree. i have tried losing weight, skin care, makeup, but nothing works. i don't even think surgery could fix it

Well, being ugly is something that limit your social/romantic connections, so is expected that you face bullying and loneliness, to be honest. Why are things like that? I'm desperate to have a reasonable answer, but I guess there isn't: it's just the genetic lottery, and if you were unlucky enough, may try beauty treatments or just accept the raw reality and start living with the knowledge that you were fucked up for things that aren't in your control, but still can do something to your life that are in your control, not counting that much with appearance. For last, of course, if this pain is unbearable - I know it is - and you have nothing left to fight for, you can also CTB, and I won't judge you for doing so.

Anyway, if you want to look for some comfort, watch movies like "The phantom of the opera", "Wonder", "Elephant man" and "The hunchback of Notre Dame", all of them portrait the consequences of owning a repulsive appearance.

Ugly here too. I somehow manage to forget when I'm not in front of a mirror. But for me it explains one of many reasons why people treat me different, sneer, exclude, etc. All my life. Sympathy to you!

People used to say I look like a homeless person. Not strangers mind you, people who were teaching me. I also have a crooked nose that makes me look like a goblin or a witch, with teeth to match.

There's so much you can do. Take care of your hair. Watch makeup tutorials for your face shape, buy the right brands and products. Losing weight only makes a noticeable difference in your face if you lose 15+ pounds. Anyone can look better with enough and consistent effort, but people tend to give up when they don't see results right away

Flossing with a banana and nose so wide you could park a car on it. Simply magnificent literature.

I'm a hideous bastard myself, but I can't touch that description.

Yeah, no kidding sadpigeon is pretty smart. I know of a guy with same description of your nose lips and hairline. He's a doctor.

You're a great writer, lean into that.
