Just a few months ago I was pretty singleminded about the "big questions". I spend most of my time outside work reading and thinking about these things because it's all I can relate to, and while my default positions are the same (except free will, I now think it's reasonable to hold it exists) I've become much more agnostic than anything else. We don't know anything!

Curious, why do you think free will exists?

I didn't say I think it does or doesn't, just that it's reasonable to believe it does given how much more intuitive it is and our ignorance of what's really going on with consciousness and causality

Another day of solitude in my room alone and abandoned.

Free will does not exist, you are a slave to your condition. I have been addicted to pornography for a decade and have tried immeasurably to stop. To this day I have not succeeded, and I assure you it was not because I am a weak person.

Sorry, addiction isn't a refutation to free will to begin with, especially since we know it's treatable.
Addiction is not recoverable from a praxeological point of view. Observe the world around you and see how likely it is for an addict to give up his practice permanently. This world is a slavery of flesh, in a dystopian society, in a ruthless and indifferent universe. There is no freedom. Your story already comes with pre-written endings.

Suffering is a futility that has no intrinsic meaning. All my pain, all my loneliness, is just a cosmic joke. This life does not belong to us.

I removed my earlier comments because I'm not looking to argue. I'm coming from a more syllogistic perspective, if A then B and so on, but if your personal experience leads you to believe something I'm not in a place to answer that.

You have failed to understand the problem of free will.
