• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's a new year.

Before last year ended, I had a couple of people to talk to--people that I've known for months/years. A few of them I had met in the military. I planned to travel across the country to see them the first week of January. I bought a plane ticket and everything.
But at the end of December, I got blocked on everything and I'm being ignored by everyone with no explanation.

I want to lament, but it's pointless. It won't change the circumstances and it won't make me feel better. Instead, I'm just going to ignore it. This is the first time I've ever tried something like this because, usually, I'll let the situation and my feelings about it consume me; but this time around, I'm just going to distract myself until I forget.

I doubt this is the healthiest way to deal with it, but I don't care. I don't want to feel.

If you have been in the military you may already be familiar with going to new places and starting to get to know new people. It can take a while to settle in, but getting to know coworkers and even doing volunteer work can open all sort of possibilities.

Did something happen that led to this? Did you say or do anything? Did you talk about suicide?

Most people don't understand or want to deal with stuff like this.I'm talking about people IRL , not the ones on the site.

No one is talking to me. I could rack my brain about it, but it's pointless. If no one is going to tell me what I did wrong, then I'm not going to beat myself up about it.

i cant wrap my head around full grown adults being this childish and socially challenged. genuinely wonder if guilt is even an experience they have the mental capacity to feel.

Exactly - and it can be all them too, and nothing to do with you.

My goal is to have one true friend as I focus on goals and do my best to find someone who 'gets' this board and what it means to be planning escape.
