Anyone else in the same boat? Being sober isnt so bad only because I'm on venlafaxine, a great drug. However it does not solve my problems. It only makes it easier to cope with them. I do not cope. I choose death.

I drink alot at night and on weekends, it makes me feel better but it's not a solution. When I'm at work and sober I just feel miserable and completely disconnected.

I'm drinking right now. I feel at peace with my suicide at the moment.

I used to do the same, heavily through high school. I don't remember a moment being sober honestly through those years, it's a wonder I graduated.

Psychedelics might help you. Don't know if venlafaxine would interfere with them or not.

I do somewhat oxy and Xanax. I don't ever drink anymore, because it would make me want to call wife, I don't want to wake up the next morning with regrets.

Well I'm in a similar position to you. I'm on venlafaxine and olanzapine. I cope with meds and speed/md.

Anxiety goes away if you keep smoking.

I am sure it will, but I get more anxious than when I was a teenager back then it was just kind of a buzzing feeling in my muscles now it feels like straight up anxiety it sucks!

yes antidepressants alone don't supress my suicidal thoughts, regardless of whether it's an SSRI or SNRI. I guess my head is too fucked. Also need an antipsychotic to get any sleep whatsoever.

because I don't enjoy anything. I've spent all my adult life at university and I'm fed up of it. Can't imagine having fun doing anything in the future. Also I have body dysmorphic disorder. Also, suicide solves all problems (in my opinion).
