Not sure if I'm suicidal, but I do feel pretty bad

I've been reflecting on my previous roomate situation. How I chose to commute from home most of last semester due to one of my roomates problematic behavior

I never chose to confront this person head on. I never voiced my feelings or boundaries. I just ran to the head of dorm to voice my concerns

When I did, he made a subtle comment at how, for 26, I should know how to have adult conversations

At the time it made me upset but, he isn't wrong

For 26, I'm emotionally a child

It doesn't matter what my trauma history is, had I spoken up to that roomate I would have made the situation better

It's likely also why I got pushed away for the RA position

So now, I just feel upset at myself

I don't think that makes you an idiot, it might just mean you prefer to avoid confrontation. Does that make you emotionally immature? I wouldn't say so, although I'm the same way so my perspective is biased.
