Maybe literally hell? I mean many on here are literally in hell.

Somewhere in Gaza? Somewhere in Eastern Ukraine? Somewhere in Sudan?

I imagine we are all standing in front a burning garbage can. We all tell each other to distract us from what is going on. And then we get bombed and more and more of us get exectued in a brtual way.

However, we could also live in an underground under the surface of earth. And we are all pariahs living in the shadows because average people stigmatize us.

Maybe we are in this Titanic submarine and we could all die in an eye blink. An experiment of a crazy power hungry wanna be God.

Or we are in a torture dungeon of jigsaw?

Maybe we are on the moon or under a frozen sea where we cannnot breathe. Like in this Sylvia Plath story where having depression is compared to sufforcation. We are all self -aware about it but we cannot change it and every second feels like forever.

SaSu would be a quiet place in a far away land. A large room, for some a waiting room, for others a living room, with a big, looming, locked door, impossible to not see. Nobody comes back from entering the large door.

Some in this room want to cross the door. Others know ways to make opening it easier. There are people here warning that there's no return from it, and some that want to comfort the pain of the others here, no matter their decisions. For a few, it is a place where they are sure to find people that are willing to be friends, share, and form a community.

But in the end, the door is always there, scary and enticing, to liberate some from their pain. And really, pain is what it is all about: To soothe pain, to talk about pain, to distract from pain, to let go of pain.

SaSu is about pain, and it exists because it is hard to talk about it outside of it, often becoming ignored. To hurt is to understand pain, and here, everyone knows about it, one way or another.

I like the moon because I'm mildly obsessed with We Have Always Lived in the Castle right now. But an alien planet where the gravity is too high, the light is muted, there's no quite enough oxygen, and there's random killer eruptions works, too.

Metro 2033, but without the factional violence or bloodshed, just the vibe. Post-apocalypse Russia where we all live underground.

Sasu is a sanctuary for me. Like a beautiful, cool vibrant oasis in a scorching hot desert. I return here when life has burnt my feet.

It be in a void in space, not like the black hole, but in a space that's full of potential for both creation and destruction. Nothingness but with materials to make and destroy.
