i live in a trailer park with some woods surrounding it, and a big evergreen tree in my yard. i'm tempted to go with the tree but i don't want my family to be the ones to find my body, and given how early my dad leaves for work, it seems more likely than not. my main concern is the shock would be bad for their health, as heart problems are very common on my dad's side of the family. so would it really be a problem if he DID find it? would that give him a heart attack or something or should i just go for it? it's 2 am, most of the house is asleep, i have like three belts, it's a very good time to do this. unless i wanna wait for the weekend when people wake up way later ... i could also just cut a cartoid artery but i think that would be even worse to witness ;-;

Not sure if you've already attempted but, this is very relatable as someone who's sister will likely be the one to find me. I've mostly just come up with giving her something to do that requires minimal thinking. She's the sort of person who likes being helpful, and I don't know what her immediate response will be obviously. So its a lot of smaller plans and instructions. Whether to call the police, an ambulance, etc. What to say, where my ID and Birth certificate are. Places to donate my things to, etc. More personal things too of course.

In terms of method, I've heard the flatness of belts can sometimes make it not constrict around your throat fully. But if you're going brute force in a tree, that might not matter. I'd worry about them being strong enough to hold your weight though.
