Venting I would love to live alone

I think about it all the time. The only thing that makes me feel this way is my family. They are all of my worries. It's like a big weight on me every single day.

I really wish I could live alone. I see people with their own small apartments and I feel so jealous. I dream of having a simple little place that is just mine. The only thing I would want with me is a cat. A nice, warm cat that just purrs and sleeps. No one would be there to ask me what's wrong or tell me what I should be doing. It would just be quiet and peaacful.

Not necessarily. It depends on whether you are in a relationship or whether you have good friends or acquaintances in general. Or simply whether you have some things to look out for during your week.

Living together with someone 24/7 can be a real burden. It can cause you to lose contact with your inner self. I went from living together for six years to living alone while maintaining the relationship. I have for three years now and I have to say, I love it.
